  1. What is Privacy Policy
 
Qanda, as service of Mathpresso Inc. (hereinafter referred as “Qanda”) takes the users information very seriously and actively guarantees the users’ right of self-determination.
Qanda complies with laws related to privacy acts, including <ACT ON PROMOTION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK UTILIZATION AND INFORMATION PROTECTION, ETC> and <PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION ACT>.
“Privacy Policy” means the guideline that Qanda must follow to protect users privacy so that users can use Qanda with confidence.
The personal information provided by the users would only be used for the purpose and scope of the users’ consent, and will never be provided to third party without users consent. Additionally, we do not collect sensitive personal information that may be considered as violation to basic human rights. 
This Privacy Policy information can always be found on Qanda’s application and website (http://qanda.ai).
 
  1. Collection of Personal Information
 
We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide our Qanda service and ask for users’ consent on this data collection.
Minimum amount of information collected through users’ registration, use of application, websites or individual program, etc to provide the service is as follows:

(Resident registration number: Collected only if there is a basis in the Act (for instance, the declaration of other income tax contribution under Article 21 of the <INCOME TAX ACT> (for other income)
 
When processing the refund:
Bank account, account number, account holder’s name
 
Some other services may collect additional personal information with users’ consent, in addition to the common information we collected for the provision of various functions.
 
We collect personal information as follows:
  • When the user consents to personal information collection and personally input the information during users’ registration, users information's modification, and service use
  • When the user personally inputs the information in the application, webpage, email, fax or phone during consultation process with Customer Service
  • When personal information is provided by affiliated services/ companies
  • When participating in the events held online/ offline
 
Personal information collected from the users during the service usage is as follows:
Automatically generated information, such as device information (OS, screen size, device ID, phone type, device model name), access IP, cookies, location information, service usage record, malicious usage record using PC web/ mobile web/ app can be collected.

Qanda uses users personal information to manage users’ membership, provide, improve and develop new services.
We collect minimum personal information needed to provide the service through individual application, website, or individual program during users registration or service use process.

  1. Provision of Personal Information
 
Qanda would never provide users’ personal information to third parties, without users’ separate consent or unless required by law.
 
The following tasks are entrusted to provide the service.
 
Personal information is entrusted to external companies to perform some of the tasks necessary to provide the service.
 
We are doing our best to ensure that users’ personal information is safely managed, and in accordance with relevant laws, we clearly stipulate compliance with regulations related to personal information protection, prohibition of the provision of personal information to third parties, and responsibility for keeping the details of such contracts in written and electronic form.

  1. Storage & Destruction of Personal Information
 
Personal information is destroyed immediately after the purpose of collection and usage has been achieved.
 
If it is in electronic form, it is destroyed using technical means to avoid recovery and regeneration. In addition, records, prints, and written documents are destroyed by shredding or incineration.
 
However, if it is necessary to preserve the data according to the law and if it is necessary to prevent abuse and related disputes according to internal policy, users information will be kept for certain period as follows:
 
The following information will be stored and destroyed after 1 year from the date of withdrawal.
  • We will keep your account information and service records for the purpose of sending e-mails and responding to inquiries.

  1. Collection and User of Personal Information of Under-aged Users
At Qanda, we understand that it is important for the parents to understand the personal information we collect, how we use it, how we update, manage and delete it in relation to the under-aged users' usage of Qanda account and services.
 
In the process of joining the Qanda service, members under the age of 14 (or the appropriate age applicable in the country of residence) should share the information about this service to their parents and the privacy policy. Parents should review the information to determine if it is suitable for their children.

 
Parents of child users can view or edit the information in their child's account at any time, withdraw their consent to collection and use, or request for termination.

  1. Technical and administrative protection measures of personal information
In dealing with the personal information of users, we take the following technical and managerial measures to ensure its stability so that personal information is not lost, stolen, leaked, altered or damaged.
 
  • We store and manage users’ password through one-way encryption. Only users themselves who know their account password can verify and make changes to personal information.
  • Qanda is committed to protect users’ personal information from leakage, damage resulting from hacking/ computer viruses.
  • Qanda is doing its best to protect users’ personal information by only granting few staff members with the authority to manage personality information. They are given personal IDs and passwords and these are frequently change to ensure users’ personal information protection.
  • In principle, users’ ID and password are only used by the members of our service. Qanda will not take any responsibility for any issues caused by leakage of personal information including ID and password due to users’ personal negligence or due to intrinsic risks of the Internet. Please change your password frequently and be careful not to disclose your personal information when signing in through other person’s mobile device.

Qanda protects and guarantees users’ rights.

 
Members (legal representatives if they are under 14 years old) can view or modify their personal information at any time, withdraw their consent to collection and use or request termination of their subscription.

 
Specifically, you can click Change or cancel account through the profile setting function within the service, or contact the personal information manager via phone or e-mail through the customer center and we will process the result immediately. You can also confirm the destruction of your personal information through the customer center after you leave.

In the events of modification in Privacy Policy
We may change our privacy policy, for example, to reflect changes in law or services. In this case, we will pre-post the change to the “Notice” within the app at least 7 days before the revision. Therefore, the changed privacy policy will be effective seven days after the date of posting.
