QANDA community is a learning platform where students freely share their knowledge. QANDA's goal is to make a community capable of sharing questions, concerns, and handy information with friends and fellows so they can inspire and move forward together on a challenging path called learning.

Our community guideline is made to assist the QANDA community in having useful content and healthy communication among millions of members. Please keep the community guidelines and participate in making a helpful and ideal community. In case of guideline violation, you may get corresponding penalties such as content removal and suspension or permanent restriction of your account.

Community Guidelines

It is strictly forbidden to create contents or comments that correspond to the following list. Please check what's below before participating in the QANDA community.

[Inappropriate contents]

  • Post that promotes hatred against certain individuals or groups
  • Spamming post
  • Post that promotes bullying/suicide/sexual assault or harassment
  • Post that starts/spreads rumor or/and slander
  • Promotional posts/advertisement for commercial purposes without the prior consent of the Team QANDA.
  • Post that includes nude or/and pornographic contents (including the emoji, vocabulary)
  • Post that violates others rights such as copyright and personality rights
  • Post related to politics and religions
  • Post that includes/asks private information such as personal social media data, open chat links, messenger ID, etc.
  • Post pretending to be QANDA Team
  • Post inappropriate to teenagers or that causes hatred
  • Post asking for any kind of payment
  • Post that uses glitch/error on purpose to gain advantage and affects service's commerce
  • Post that includes malware or code causing system malfunction
  • Post abusing other members (stalking etc)
  • Post written with stolen personal information
  • Post promoting the creation of clique or excessive connection with others
  • Post containing URL links
  • Other posts that violate a related statute or negatively influence the QANDA community's learning environment

Profile Setup Guide

  • It is prohibited to use images that includes nude or/and pornographic contents.
  • It is prohibited to use a QANDA logo or image that can be recognized as the QANDA Team.
  • It is prohibited to use any word that is associated with QANDA Team in user profile message.

In QANDA, it is strictly prohibited to set a profile image/message that is associated with the QANDA Team. Please be noticed that such action will result in a penalty such as a permanent restriction of the member account.

Report Inappropriate Content

The QANDA community's content might not fit you. If you doubt that content is appropriate then please contact us using a reporting service so QANDA Team can review the content. QANDA Team will work on reported content asap to make a better platform environment.

QANDA member's reports on inappropriate content take an important role in providing quality content on the platform. Reporting is completely anonymous, and other members cannot know the accuser. Reported contents will not get blocked automatically. Reported contents are reviewed according to policies and Terms and Conditions by QANDA Team. Also, if content and comment are reported unfairly then the accuser gets the warning/penalty according to the QANDA community operation policy.

Warning & Penalty

QANDA works on reporting improper contents and applying guidelines with staff and technology.

A member new to the platform's environment and operation policy can make a mistake, and considering the chance of unintentional violation, the first violation will only result in a warning.

The warning is one-time only, and remember that continual violation of the policy will end up with stronger restrictions. Warning only applies to the community. Other services like search and questions are still available.

First suspension (7 days)

If the member is found to have violated the QANDA community operation policy then he or she will get first suspension(7 days). Suspended members cannot use the QANDA community during the suspension period. (Your account and device are both suspended) After 7 days, all activities will be available, but the warning/suspension history will not be removed.

Second suspension (30 days)

Another violation act after the first suspension will result in a second suspension. Again, suspended members cannot use the QANDA community during the suspension period. (Your account and device are both suspended) After 30 days all activities will be available if there is no additional problem, but again, warning/suspension history will not be removed.

Permanent restriction

Violation after the second suspension will result in a permanent restriction on the device and account.

If the violation act is found after the second suspension or even if there is one or no warning/suspension history but QANDA Team found the act serious enough for a permanent restriction, the device and account will get permanent restriction.

[Member's consequence on getting warned]

When you got warned, related information will be sent via Contact us. If your account is suspended, a message from the QANDA Team will show on the community tap and Community activity section at the bottom of Mypage. Other guided information is following:

  • Reported contents
  • Policy violated
  • Action that can be taken
  • Warning record and the following penalty

Procedure for an appeal to warning and suspension

Please review the community operation policy before appealing. The appeal is available until a week after the date a member received a warning or suspension.

A member can appeal through Contact us, and the result will be available on the same page after the QANDA team has examined the case.

If the appeal is accepted, the warning/suspension will be canceled. There is no additional penalty even if the appeal is rejected, but you can't appeal again for the same case.
